iMQL® System
for Low Volume Lubrication

iMQL® cutting is a cutting method in which a small amount of cutting oil is misted by compressed air and supplied to the cutting edge. This cutting method, also known as near-dry cutting or semi-dry cutting, is effective in reducing costs, saving energy, extending tool life, improving machining accuracy, and increasing machining efficiency.
iMQL® system developed by HOKOS uses the 【Mixing inside the Spindle Method】, in which a small amount of cutting oil and compressed air are mixed in the mixing device installed at the end of the spindle, and the oil mist is sprayed from the tip of the cutting tool for machining.
